Short dress in light blue and ecru gingham cotton. A design for those nostalgic for the 60s, Saint-Tropez and Brigitte Bardot! The soft fabric and ample shape are enhanced by the gathers supported by the front and back panels. We love the elasticated balloon sleeves with a ruffled effect at the bottom, the natural mother-of-pearl buttons on the front and the flat collar embellished with a small ruffle. Then there are the details that make this dress unique: the hand-embroidered flowers on the buttons, the croquet braid marking the yoke cut in the opposite direction to the bias-cut skirt. The dress is fully lined and assembled using English stitching. It can be worn as a short dress or as a tunic over trousers or leggings.
